The Ministry of Communications has been working in partnership with Korean International Cooperation (KOICA) in the area of e-Government Implementation and adoption. An essential part of this partnership with KOICA involves Continuous Capacity Building on e-Government amongst public servants.
So far (5) in-country trainings have successfully been accomplished with over 800 public servants participating service wide.
The following courses are being taught:
Executive Course I: e-Government Course specially tailored for heads of MDA’s.
Executive Course II: e-Government Course for Directorate Cadre.
E-security Course: e-Government Course aimed towards ICT departments and other technical officers.
Professional Course: e-Government Course for PRS, Accounting and other administrative departments
Train the Trainers Course: This e-Government course is specially tailored for officers that have successfully completed any of the courses. this is to support them with the necessary skills to enable them to become e-Government trainers and share their acquired knowledge with others.
Project Planning and Development: This a special course aimed mostly at officers that have attended any of the other courses.
